Skala Eressos is famous for its womens festivals as well as its beautiful beach and has a lot to offer through out the summer.

Sappho Spring Festival 17 May 2013 to 31 May 2013



Sappho Spring Festival

Now in its 4th year the Sappho Spring Festival is becoming more and more popular with women wanting to get away from it all early in the summer. A great festival for those wanting to have a bit of fun and party whilst still being able to benefit from the peace and quiet of Skala Eressos before the high season begins. As well as live music performances, dinner parties and fun on the beach you can explore the island of Lesbos with one of the optional moped trips.

Alpha Camp Lesbos - 15 June 2013 to 29 June 2013

Alpha Camp Lesbos will be celebrating its second year in Skala Eresos and after last years resounding success it promises to be another great two weeks. Organised and promoted by Alpha Girls in Hamburg the emphasis is on having fun, enjoying the beach and partying with DJ's from the women's scene around the world. Of course as always you can always decide to chill out and relax with a friend on the beach, or sipping a cocktail at one of the bars on the water edges. During the day there are plenty of activities with games on the beach and lilo races in the water and in the afternoons you can join in with the beach dance classes and parties. In the evenings there are special events at some of the restaurants followed by parties at the bars located over the waters edge.

International Womens Festival of Skala Eressos Lesbos - 7th to 21st September 2013

The oldest and most popular of the 3 festivals in Skala Eressos the International Womens Festival is well established and has a loyal following. Many women return every year to take part, meet old friends, make new ones and generally have a great and happy holiday. Organised by the non profit Sappho Women the festival is full of things to do, workshops, boat trips, parties, live music and the now famous Alternative Fashion show.
